    1. Thanks for being such a beautiful supporter of those around you! I’m lucky to know you 🙂 hope you have a fantastic week, my friend! 🫶

  1. I feel you Amy and forgetting your medicine. It is so easy to fall back into old habits when we don’t have the assistance of this medicine “changing” our brain to give us the ability to say “meh, those chips, that pizza, I don’t need to eat that”. Thanks for the shout out and Congratulations to all of us being successful in our journeys, fast or slow, one day at a time.

    1. Yesssss I loved your comment and also the reminder that this is not a competition or a comparison game 😉 even John and I have completely different journeys but we both had success! It’s nice to read other people’s stories and to gain inspiration and insight and advice… But not to let the temptation of comparison bring us down! We’re each on our own special journey 🙂 hugs to you my friend and have a great week!

  2. Hi Amy! Thank you for the fun shout out!!! I really appreciate it. I am so sorry that you forgot your shot on vacation, but at the same time it gave you an amazing perspective.
I’m having a colonoscopy in about five weeks and I was told I have to go off the medication two weeks before. I am not looking forward to it and a little fearful if I’m honest. I’m going to take your experience and try to be extra extra careful when I’m off of it and maybe increase my high fiber foods to increase the tummy fullness. I’ve been working with my cousin Carol who is a health nutritionist. She has helped me so much to give me a perspective about the type of foods that I am eating
And how important gut health is and the increase in fiber in your diet. Our tummy microbes need to have something to eat, or they will eat right through our lining. Thank you again for your positivity and your infectious lovely personality! I hope you have a fabulous rest of your week.

    1. Your comment reminds me of why you’ve had the success you have 🙂 yes, there are many factors, but one important one has been your positive attitude and the way you’ve really given your health a lot of thought. I love your proactive mind and the way you try to work through All the situations that come your way! I really appreciate hearing your thoughts and emotions and plan of attack for your Time off of The medicine. I think there are many other people who will be going through a similar situation. Considering how you are going to take care of yourself and fuel yourself well during this time, it’s wonderful to hear! Thanks for taking the time to share and for always being such an awesome supporter and teammate!

  3. Hi Amy not being in mounjaro since November has been difficult. Since having my appendix out and colonoscopy and serve side effects.
The hunger returns and mindset changes.
Remember it’s only a tool to be used.
I’ve gained 10 pounds back because of lack of control. Reminding myself back to the program of calorie counting and increased proteins. Wishing all the best for everyone.

    1. Oh friend, thank you for chiming in! I think it’s really impressive that you have only gained back a small portion in abt 9 months! It’s obvious you’re working hard! We are pulling for you and I really appreciate your updates!
